Fault code

Featured Replies

Hi guys,  I've had my Octavia for around 3 weeks now and had a problem yesterday. The warning light came on as the temperature guage was up in the red,  i pulled over immediately.. i had to call the RAC out.  He tested it and it came up with the fault code P190E00,Coolant pump for charge pressure cooler, supply voltage.. the RAC guy couldn't see any problems anywhere so followed me home and the problem didn't happen again. Does anyone know what the issue could be at all?

Thanks in advance

I have the same model (2013 Elegance hatchback) bought roughly the same time as you. The error could be an intermittent error from that pressure sensor. Scan the errors time to time with ODBII every now and then. Most likely the sensor is faulty and shows up in a specific temperature.

Thanks for that but the car has gone back to Skoda and they have said there is a common fault with the sleeve in the pump which gets stuck and causes the issue. To be fair the guy i bought it off has sorted everything and i should get the car back tomorrow all being good.. 👍🏻
