Bridgestone Potenza S005 on 19" wheels.

That’s not even in current Bridgestone UK Listing

Currently listing  Potenza S001 or S007 or new Potenza Sport

Potenza is summer performance range, no use in the winter

What do you mean with UK listing? You have listed which tires you get with a new car in teh UK?

And as far as I know, new cars always come with summer tires.

Some manufactures make special type of tires specially for factory fitment.

Mine came with 19" Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport. I was worried i would get the potenzas. Had them a few times and they are ****E!. The F1's feel as good as Pilot Sport 4s.

Mine as well (EU version) ... left the factory on November 2020 with Goodyear F1 Supersport mounted on 19" rims.

Pirelli P7 Cinturato for me also, can’t wait to get them ditched for a set of Michelin Pilot Sports

Replaced my bulged p7 with ps4's £186 🥵 bit of a jump for the £95 I paid for 18inch rims on the mk3 for ps4. Just 3 more to fund now

I understand. :worried:

But having different tires on one axle can be dangerous.

Hopefully end of month I will replace other side. And keep it as a spare tyre.

Thats a bit of  debate that one.  I did it on last car and was told by a few Qwik Fits and National , that as long as its a quality tyre mid range and above and has the same speed rating and same size  ,, its fine

Exactly that! I don't run cheap tyres. But I can feel the difference between the ps4 and p7

I agree to some extent.

But Pirelli P7 Cinturato and Michellin Pilot Sport are not in the same range I would say.

I didn't want to apply you run cheap tires. Far from that. I just wanted to warn you. In a good way.

Hi , you will feel the difference as the 4s is a great tire. The top 3 today as reviewed by tyre reviews are the Mich 4s , Conti Sport 6 and the Goodyear F1 super sport. I have the F1 super sports and say i cant tell the diff from Mich 4s. So far a great tyre and really good  in a spirited drive in the wet . Hated Bridgestone but liked Falken's and even the Avon's were good if price is an issue. Wet grip is important up here in Scotland as wet is the default.
