Hello everyone

I am about tout buy a used Octavia mk3. The car is quite far from m'y home so before going there i want to be sure. 

Those should be xenon + led daylight no  ?

The seller told me the  car add halogen light but i am assuming he  is wrong

 

Can someone  confirm to  me? 

It’s the projector headlamps with DRL strip so it should be xenon.
 

The halogens use a reflector style lamp. 
 

I would just ask the seller to send a video with the lights on...

They are xenon as they have the headlight washers fitted.

At first glance they look like the same cluster I have on my bi-xenon equipped RS.

I have halogens on my car, with washers, so not a true indicator. 

 

The cluster looks different to mine though. Less bulb and more "lens".

Never knew that Skoda sold halogens with washers. Learn something new everyday.

Not necessarily true - my 2015 Elegance has headlight washers but has Halogen headlights.

 

How come? - the headlight washers were an option that the original purchaser specified.

They look like the Xenon headlamps to me. Does the car have a levelling adjuster dial near the headlight switch or does it have a blanking plate? Xenons are self levelling so has a blanking plate in place of the halogens levelling adjuster dial.

My car have the same headlamps. They are bi-xenons and do the side to side dance on my car

So i did ask for photos and vidéo

This one shows the lamp better and i must admît i am not that sûre anymore. 

 

Fog lamps are halogen down below.

There are small w5w bulbs behind the reflective pieces (located to the center side of the car) working as parking lights. The reflecting pieces are just shiny plastic pieces and are no lamps at all. They  just cover up the parking light bulbs.  I know because I changed them on my lamps 2 weeks ago.

Projectors are dual xenons (D3S bulbs) meaning that there is just one bulb in the projector and high beam and normal beam are adjusted with moving shutter inside the projector. On the bottom there is a led daylight stripe. You should see the reflectors move up, down and left right when car is started as they self test each time car is started.
