Delivery lead-time

Featured Replies

Hi All - My current company car is due for renewal in around 8 months time and I was wondering what lead-times people are experiencing with the Enyaq? I get to choose which company car I would like so want to make sure I get enough chance to order one once I've seen it in the flesh.

  • Got some good news this morning car is fully built and heading to the port in Germany. So that was scheduled week 33 for built so its been 10 days or so longer than exepected for the build. 👍

  • I spoke to my dealer today. Apparently my car was built as planned last week (yay!) and it left the factory this Monday.   So if all goes well in transit it should be here in about a month.

  • I collect my 60 iv December 1st, I'm exited, anyone got a 3 pin cable they want to flog cheap? as I'm without a home charger until January 26 next year🥴

I placed my order for an Enyaq 80 a month ago (March 2’nd), and at that time my dealer told me it would be built in June, at the earliest. So I’m not expecting it to be available for pickup until sometime this autumn (I need it by December 1’st to replace my current company car).

This is in Sweden though, I don’t know how and if the allotment of cars per country and such affects build and delivery lead times.

@Ianhudson Welcome to the forum.

Best you check the current situation with whoever you might be considering to supply the car.

They will know what allocation they are getting, and might have an idea on the latest from the factory on any delays due to the microchip shortage or other reasons.

thanks guys - I will visit a showroom when they open up again to have a look and see what they say about lead-times :)

Sales staff are about dealing with enquiries in dealerships in Scotland while their branch might be closed to the public. Click and collect etc are on the go.  There might well be someone near your area that deals with enquiries if they think there is a sale possible.

all orders have had their delivery dates removed according to my dealer

the current estimate I have been given was mid December, order confirmed 5 weeks ago

Checked in with my dealer the other day. Mine still doesn’t have a confirmed build date, just a preliminary build week 1 (which I assume means week 1, 2022 - but who knows…). I certainly hope it’ll get built sooner than that.

The car was ordered in early March.

Not sure where you are based Malakim, but I ordered mine in the UK in mid march and picked it up last week.

I’m in Sweden. Ordered an 80 “Loft” (I guess it’s called in the UK), with some extras (big infotainment, family pack and some other bits and bobs). I think we got around 3500 cars allocated for the year, but I was hoping I got in early as there weren’t any demo cars around when I ordered. I think we get some things as standard that are options in the UK, maybe there’s a shortage or delay on some of that stuff.

I guess it will get here eventually.

Ordered on 16th June (UK). Build week 34.....

Enyaq 60.

I ordered on 14th June and was told build week 29 - I'm not ocnvinced though reading through what other people on here have been told. They don't appear to place orders in a direct queue, so maybe they produce batches of 80s and 60s separately.

Ordered on 16th June....60 Suite, with a few options. Build week 34

Had call to say my build week has come forward to week 30. Really pleased!

I've ordered a 60 suite on 22 June. Haven't had a build date yet. Was told to expect 22 weeks for delivery however skoda uk are saying 17 max.

Well I've just been told that my order has moved up from build week 29 to week 28 instead. Presumably that just means one day earlier in reality though.

Ordered ours on 23rd June, still no build date.......

Checked in again with the dealer today.

My car is now in Status 5+, with build week 33. Apparently 5+ means it’s “95% certain that it will be built in the assigned week”.

We've just been told ours is build week 34, not too long to wait I suppose.

Ordered Superb Estate SE L iV on 5 May, given build week 23 (7 June).

Now at build stage 7 of 8.  Got call yesterday to say that car is incomplete because of a "missing vital component".

Initial delivery to be mid-July will not be before mid-August and likely to be later than that.

Jerry57- yes I have been told week 33 for the build to start on the enyaq which is 16th Aug however my dealer copied me into a disclaimer skoda are requiring people to sign if they order from this week onwards regarding shortage of components. They are basically not giving estimate build dates from now on due to the issue with these semi conductors. I'm hoping they have enough supply for the cars they have provided dates for.

Interesting topic about lead times. EV Wall Box installers need the expected delivery date to use on the Government Grant application. Skoda, like others, are being very cautious with giving out firm dates, so this make it tricky to get in writing....

My Enyaq was due for delivery on the 1st of September.

Just been advised the earliest date will now be 22nd of October, and that isn't guaranteed.

Reason given was the global shortage of microchips.

Just ordered (the very popular) Race Blue 60 Suite model with a fair few extra bits, not gone mad though.

Delivery date of 31/12/21. Seems about right looking at others lead times. My last Octavia took 5 months so I'm cool with that.
