I'm getting a 67 plate Octavia vRS 245 delivered next week and can't wait.. but as I live in London and don't want to watch it disappear from the drive at the hands of a thief, I'm looking for a bit of theft protection.

 

I've identified the Disklok as a decent theft deterrent. It comes in three sizes. I assume small is probably what I need, but was hoping someone can confirm. 

 

Any one have a mark 3.5 vrs with a Disklok? How do you find it? Does the small fit?

I have one, the small size is the one you’re wanting but make sure you get the steering wheel cover for it too so it doesn’t mark.

 

When fitting or removing have the bar pointing towards your headunit direction or you’ll keep hitting the windscreen.

Perfect, thank you for the advice. I'll get one on order! I saw the cover before and was going to get one anyway, don't want to mark that nice steering wheel!

Small size, got one in mine. Keep the turds away or at least give them a harder time

Yes, they really are! But I'd rather pay it just in case. Insurance excess will be more if it gets nicked 🤷

How do other devices like the Stoplock Pro compare to this?

Just had a look at some reviews on it. They are the two to consider by the looks. 

 

 

 

I've had a small size Disklok on my BMW 5 series which is now transferred to the VRS 230.

It is indeed, a very good visual deterrent.

Thanks everyone for all the advice. I now have my Octavia (extremely pleased with it - lovely car!) and it is safely secured with the small Disklok.
