Is anyone good at reading current flow diagrams? For a skoda superb, how am I supposed to find the physical location of things that are inside circles on these diagrams, like 'B503 − Positive connection 7 (30a), in interior wiring harness', when B503 is not mentioned in the other wiring documents that I can find inside erwin like 'fitting locations - coupling stations and plug connections of wiring harness, fitting locations for control units, fitting locations - fuses, fitting locations - relays or even 'basic information' diagram

 

I feel like there's a document in erwin somewhere that shows these locations that I can't seem to find

You can find or tap into B503 directly from fuse 10 as shown above or you can follow the [46] or [29] to see which other connectors it goes via and tap into it there

 

It's not shown in your image but there should be some numbers along the bottom to help. Couple of examples:

- 6 and 7 are linked (same diagram)

- 4 and 72 are linked (different diagrams in the same set)

Those connections in circles tend to be splices within the loom, crimped-together wires taped up and a bit hard to spot when the loom is fully taped.

 

Here's an example of a (unwrapped) two-into-one earth wire splice that @JoeF posted recently. The relevant wiring diagram would show that as a similar 'number in circle' thing to what you're seeing.

 

Thanks so much. I actually figured out the bottom-of-page number-linking system, I just naively expected there to be a diagram of locations of the circled places  I'll just have to follow the wires like you say.. !
