It could be a long wait - VAG have implemented something called SFD which means that some coding & adaptation changes can only be made once a token has been sent from the VAG servers - which third party diagnostic tools like VCDS/OBD11 etc. cannot be.

BTW they have also implemented on some vehicles a requirement to open the bonnet/hood to be able to make some coding/adaptation changes.

Doesn't suprise me. I was adding things to my mk3 that would've costed hundreds to add at a dealership 

 

This is finally possible, just need to find a list of unlocks available before i decide if it's worth buying

The car will unlock automatically when the key is nearby

Hi, I will post afternoon. Regarding power, torque, car lock - simple, only change off to on, but vrs cluster need to change more parameters

Plug the device into obd socket, open app on the phone.
Need to pass verification in order to be able to unlock anything. Its explained on obd eleven blog how to do it..

The rest I did from car app menu, just turn from off to on.
I manage to put wheel steering angle, but from some reason it is opposite

Strangely I WAS able to add g-meter but not power and torque displays.

Seems a bit hit and miss

Will the OBDeleven read codes in the MK4? I have a recurring passenger airbag warning which comes and goes. Would like more info when it comes on so that I can speak to the dealer?Thank you.

Thank you for your confirmation of what OBDELEVEN can do.

I received my device yesterday and within 10 minutes my airbag light was reset!!!!

When I jumped off the fuse box I removed the airbag switch and cable. I turned the ignition ON when the switch and cable were disconnected. Appears that the car didn’t like this and that is what the fault was for.

All now sorted. Lots more to investigate within tbe OBDELEVEN app.

Can you enable normal cruise for octavia 4? I know its possible with Enyaq.
