I am looking at the equipment packages available and wondered what everyone thought would be good to go for?

 

With my current car I have heated seats, steering wheel, front sensors and reversing camera which I think I'll need to add the following to get:

 

Climate Package Plus £710
– Heated front and rear seats
– Heated windscreen
– Tri-zone climate control
– Heated front washer nozzles
Drive Sport Package Basic £285
– Three spoke leather heated sports multi-function steering wheel with
paddles for recuperation level selection
– Progressive steering
– Drive mode selection
Parking Package Basic £505
– Front parking sensors
– Rear view camera

 

what sort of packages are everyone considering at point of order?

 

I also feel like I'd prefer a metallic colour over the blue but as this will be a business lease car there is a charge for anything other than the basic blue

Hi, there.

I am from Norway. This would be my car if I order a company car in about 1 year.

 

This will be the car:
ENYAQ iV 80X 77 kWh 265 HP Kr: 484,680

As I explain a lot of the optionals are included in 80x, thats why the price are set as 0,- kr.

Have in mind that £1 is about 11,- kr

 

The equipment are as follows:

 

Climate package plus - Heated front and rear seats, heated spray nozzles on the windscreen, heated front and rear seats, 3-zone climate and heated windscreen. This is included in the car from before. 0, - kr

 

Heat pump. All the Norwegian Enyaqs has it as standard 0,- kr

 

9 airbags are all included 0,- kr

 

Comfort package plus- KESSY full, Phonebox with wireless charging, Keyless entry and start/stop system advanced.  Sun Set with extra sound attenuation, fatigue warning and sensor-controlled electric luggage hatch. Everything also comes with the car from before, except sensor-controlled tailgate. I have had such a sensor - controlled tailgate on Superb and Kodiaq. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I do not need such a hatch, when it is so unstable that I steer the sensor control away. 0, - kr

 

Parking package plus Intro - Parking sensors at the front, rear view camera with area view. Such an area view is not necessary for me, and the other is included in the car. 0, - kr

 

Driver package sport plus - 3-spoke sports steering wheel with heating, recu-paddles, DMS, HOD, progressive sports steering and adaptive chassis DCC. I had DCC on my Superb and I liked it. Great with comfort in the city and on the highway. Lovely with sports on winding country roads. Fine with normal on ordinary driving. This was so good that I want it again. 12,500 kr

 

Comfort seat package plus - Electric front seats with memory, electric adjustment of lumbar support and massage on the driver's side. This is a company car and the passenger can easily adjust the seat manually. I use the car 90%, and we do not drive very much privately. Now it sounds very good with massage and for me who runs 60,000 km a year so maybe it would have been a good idea? I have to put it on hold until I get to test how this works. Currently it will be NOK 0,-

 

Light package plus - Full LED Matrix headlight with headlight washers, LED daytime running lights, extended LED taillights and Crystal Face. The luminous grill was so stylish that I have to have it. 6,900 kr

 

Infotainment package plus - Navigation with online infotainment for 3 years, predictive cruise control and AR Head up display. The test car I tested had HUD. I think that was fine. Good overview and nice info right on the windscreen. Everything I needed of info was right in sight. Right in sight was also the reflection of the piano-painted list / screen / little wall that was to hide the "hole" in the dashboard, which is located on the dashboard. The sun shone on this and reflected a lot. First straight from this list and into my eyes, and from the list and up into the window so that there was even more glare. I'm not going to have this. The other with info and the like. I do not need as I have Apple CarPlay. I do not want predictive cruise control either. This also had my test car. It sounds nice, but the problem is that the car has old info about speed limits. So on the highway I was cruising at 110 km / h and suddenly the car slows down to 90! Pretty powerful ... 90 was an old speed limit. Sometimes it also spotted a speed limit sign on the bridge and redused the speed. This happened several times. It took a while before I realized what this was and got it turned off. Very unpleasant experience. 0, - kr

 

Assistant package plus - Adaptive cruise control (ACC), Side assist, proactive passenger protection, Travel Assist 2.0, lane assist with traffic jam assist and emergency assist  and Emergency assist This is included with the car. 0, - kr

 

Family package plus - Electric child lock, mechanical sun blinds at the rear, 230V socket (50Hz, 150watt), 2 USB-C in the rear seat, folding table on the front seat backs and headrest in the rear seat with side support function and blanket. A good package with the outlets and sunblind, but folding table and headrest with side support function is not something I should have, or have used for my use. It will be a regular Family Package for NOK 3.900,-

 

Luggage compartment package - Variable floor, buttons for folding down the rear seat, load elements and luggage compartment net. This is also uninteresting to me. I already have some nets so it's fine. 0.- kr.

 

Metallic paint / Pearl effect It will be Artic silver. 6,600 kr

 

Lodge interior with ambient lighting in dashboard. This is gray and a little reddish. In wool and fabric. I do not like leather seats. Cold in winter, and warm in summer. I think I can glide a little back and forth in the smooth leather seats. Alcantara I think is perfectly ok. There I sit steady. But there is something about the color combo in this Lodge interior that I find exciting. 6,600 kr

 

I will not order the ŠKODA Sound System with 10 speakers and subwoofer. I had Canton in my Superb and was super happy with it. I have Canton in my Kodiaq now and am not happy. In Ålesund there is something called Bass Brothers. https://www.facebook.com/bassbrothersas I will have such a facility. It costs a little more than SSS NOK 10,000 and NOK 3,000 to get someone to install it it. This can be removed again and mounted on another car later.  13,000,- kr

 

Towbar, foldable. I must have that. Also at work. 9,800 kr

 

Mud flaps. So that it does not get so dirty and worn in the paint. 2000, - kr

 

Then the total price will be NOK: 545,000 for the car.

Forgot the heat pump

I couldn’t see any option for canton and need some bass , is there any subwoofer at all in the enyaq

Not in the Norwegian model. Then you have to order an option called Skoda Sound System.

It is in Norwegian, but I think you get the idea :)

I seen this , I’m happy with all the wiring as used to be my business but haven’t really got the time to make a box and I’m in the uk 

I think the option packs might have changed around a little in the latest offerings, but this is what I am going for. Comments welcome:

Standard 19" wheels (I prefer ride comfort and cost of tyres!)

Rear camera is included in the basic parking package at £505, an option I've gone for.

Sadly the Basic Parking package is no longer available (must have been too good to be true..)

Really, I ordered it last week and it still shows on the configurator on the Skoda uk website ?

Take a look. The issue is that it is £1,275 and you must have it with one of the convienence packages.

Yes I got the rear camera, not the area view camera you show in the pack below.

 

 

 

I will ask the dealer why that Basic option is not appearing and if I he can order it.

Parking pack basic is still on the configurator, and that basically exactly the same as the salespeople use.

I’ve never really seen the point of front sensors but rear camera and rear sensors are a help
