Rear door ambient led lighting (above door handle)

Featured Replies

Im putting this to fellow members, has anyone done or know of a way I can modify my rear doors to have the led ambient lighting?  I know the rear doors on the Supurb had the lighting. I'd like to do this on my vehicle.

Here is an example of what I'm attempting to explain. The red led lighting on the rear doors as seen on @JR RS Supurb.

I've always thought it a bit stingy of Skoda to charge £250 or so and not include the rears.........

@whitevx- here's another angle...

Thank you @JR RS

@Berisfordagreed, if it comes with certain packs why not just add the two rear doors into the package.

@whitevx- from wat I've heard (those who've wanted to retrofit it to their Superb) is that new door cards with the ambient lighting strip is required.

It's not possible to get just the strips n add it to the existing door card.

Not sure wat is involved wiring wise as it would most likely b non-existent on ur rear doors.

Thank you @JR RS

seems like it might end up being a pipe dream sadly.

Man, Superb is one of the best looking cars on the market today

Best design from Škoda ever - every time I see that car I am amazed at how good looking it is (imo better than most BMWs, Mercedes and the like)

Can't wait to see what they do with a refresh in design

...oops sorry, thought it was the puddle lights. I didn't even know about the ambient lighting.
