Plug and play Columbus head unit downgrade !

Featured Replies

Can anyone please point me in the direction of a replacement Skoda head unit, preferably one that can fit straight into a 2009 superb ?

My dads Columbus has now been stolen twice and we would like to put in a less desirable replacement :)

Thanks

Swing, Bolero, Amundsen. Make sure to get one from the same generation as the stolen Columbus.

Really sorry to hear about your dad's woes.

I think that if you search for something like a 'Swing' or 'Bolero' (depending on how far you want to downgrade) on Ebay you should find something to fit the bill.

Search for something like this:

"Skoda Superb MK2 2008 - 2013 Stereo Radio CD Player Head Unit with Code"

Just make sure that they have the relevant unlock codes with them so that they will work in your Dad's car.

Alternatively of course, check out the for sale section here on the  Briskoda forums - there'll usually be someone on here selling the sort of thing you're after.

Best of luck. :)
