Anyone else ordered a new Kodiaq?

Featured Replies

I think if we know which countries  the cars were delivered to rule out if one country has more slots than the other. atm i think most cars delivered are UK based.

  • Well, after a 7 month wait, I picked up my Sportline facelift today. All options present, including Canton, and the electric child locks with the family pack.

They are getting through the backlog, but the order in which they are doing so seems  random based on a lucky dip of spec and colour.

Probably just picking the ones that are easiest to get out of here..

Mine must be stuck in the middle :)

Kodiaq dsg 2.0 Executive old model, ordered on 03/29/2021, arrived with restyling in the dealership (Italy) on Saturday 11/27/2021, I'm waiting to take it home !!!

Looks great. When did you order and who through?

If be letting them have another swing at the paint protection film if I were you. 😁

Order dated 03/29/2021, old model, delivery in June, after a month they offered me the new model under the same conditions of contract and October delivery, produced in September (incomplete) arrived from the dealer on Tuesday. LineaBlu Ravenna, Italy!!!

🤙💪

I ordered my standard 4x4 TDI Sportline in early July. I Just received an unconfirmed build date. Week 9! WTF! 😢

I believe every order that is pending from july 21 on will be probably arround week 10 2022

For the uninitiated how does one go about working out the calendar date from the build week number?

the week is 7 days, first 7 days of January from Monday = week 1. in 2021 week 1 from 4 to 10. in 2022 week 1 from 3 to 9 ....

I keep it simple and think of the first week of a year as 0-'1' and the last as '52'.

Then it is all taken as approx from then on with what you are told.

With Skoda Chat being down at the moment is the only other way to get an update through the dealer?

Cheers

Not that I’ve found. It appears that the dealers aren’t getting any useful updates from Skoda either.

My dealer suggested that I tried Customer Service to see if they would give me any information as to what has happened to my order, but all I got was an obviously scripted phone call telling me that all car manufacturers are suffering the same global problems and couldn’t / wouldn’t comment on my order.

This isn't quite true.  I ordered early July and car is now with dealer.  I just think it's a bit of a lottery.

Under normal conditions the car is produced in 2 weeks, for example if the production week is the 32nd but they start on Thursday or Friday, the production weeks become 3, so times change ....

sorry if I'm not clear, I translate with google !!! 🙈

You ordered from UK? If so i have mostly seen UK orders getting delivered. Also on other forum from other EU countries  july orders still unknown.

We ordered our Kodiaq TDI sel dsg back in August. Picked it up yesterday from Garland Motors in Aldershot. (outstanding service from Rebecca in Sales 👍)

We weren't in a rush and didn't expect to get it until next year so luck of the draw maybe ?DSC_0030.thumb.JPG.8f1ec8e510beb03c1ed2ecf0cb5d35ab.JPG

I wasn't sure if there are actually 52 build weeks in a year, or due to planned shutdowns there may be less?   ...and therefore calendar week not necessarily the same as build week as we progress through the year?   ...or on the other hand do shutdown weeks have build week numbers but no vehicles are built?

ah man can't believe i'm jealous of unconfirmed build weeks! 3 weeks ago i had a confirmed build week now still car hasn't been built or any form of build date allocated - i have no tears left
