Went to dealer apparently they misplaced it temporarily lol all sorted out now

My car is due for delivery wednesday  they offered that date then when i chose it they asked if i could delay delivery further as they are trying to reduce their carbon foot print. I kindly pointed out i've been waiting for over 12months for the car so thats offset his carbon foot print and to give me my god damn car!

That’s hilarious! Did they ever imagine you’d say yes!? No idea what difference it makes to their carbon footprint.

Presumably booking transport from the port they wait to fill one so less trips and less carbon emissions….but means customers have to wait longer. 
 

Never had the choice before. Dealer always just rung to say, car is here when can you get it. 
 

Imagine having the nerve to ring a customer who has waited so long, offer them a date then ask if they’d mind waiting…madness.

it was frustrating enough as the car was at the dealers 1st june PDI checks take hours max 2-3 days so i had to wait 2 weeks for them to sort that also

Greetings from România. I have ordered a Kodiaq on 8th march 2022 and today the dealer Called me that The car just arrived and friday i can go and collect it 😁

That was fast! Did you get one already preordered and coming in or did you customize it? if yes with what options

Customize IT, 1.5 tsi graphite grey, business and view pack and comfort & function pack. Waiting time was 28 weeks from The dealer, but IT is done in 14 weeks

I think IT was pure luck. I had paid 10% in advance on 8th march 22 and then 2 weeks ago The dealer Called "let's pay The rest of IT because it's on the way" and no info until this. Yesterday i received it and i already love this "Teddy bear".

It's a whole thing. It's been a while. Never know, they might build it.

 

It's a 1.5 SportLine but with a fair few extras.

Supposedly this is the week my Kodiaq should be build. Checked last Friday with the dealer and no pushbacks. Hoping there are enough parts for finishing...

Shouldthey be in the doors on a Kodiaq? In our Karoq the umbrella is under the passenger seat.

got the car sportline last Wednesday passenger door had brolly, drivers door has compartment as i bought a spare of fleebay for a tenner

For the past 6 weeks or so my build week has been slated in for 12/09, but I got an email from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts today to advise it was now penciled in for 05/09.

 

was very surprised to see it move forward, was expecting the opposite of nothing else.

 

time will tell if this target is to be met

there definately starting to move things forwards seen a few with build weeks earlier. fingers crossed peeps start seeing them rather than unicorns

Had an email which my build week went from September time to 20/06/2022 did try to email and ask if this date is correct as it had changed from sep to June so will wait and see if it stays this date and anything happens this week.

They are working on building all historic orders by end of August. Whether that includes the really really old pre facelift ones I don’t know. But been told Skoda want to clear the Kodiaq backlog. I guess they want to do that and then shift to Enyaq.

Same with me - Moved from December 25th to June 20th. Dealer confirmed this date didn't change for the past 3 weeks, so fingers crossed.

Just a dealer. Back in March ŠKODA suggested all kodiaq orders would be fulfilled by August and that is apparently still their aim.
