    Yes looking like cutting it unfortunately  I don't own a grinder so looking like hacksaw and a fresh pack of blades and arm ache 🙄

    A Dremel will split the nut easily enough if you don't have a grinder.

OK, well the part number is Kilen 23106. Think there is plenty more on ebay.

Just one last quick question as always lol does anyone know the torque setting for the main brake caliper bolts as im going to take this opportunity to change my pads and discs while i,m re stripping the rest ???

Slider pins are 28Nm for FSII & FSIII calipers. Pins are 7mm Allen for FSIII which are on the 1.4 MPI. Disc size is 256mm.

 

There are no other caliper mounting bolts as the pins go straight into the hub casting....

Thanks sepulchrave i had not noticed that at the end will get the set without :)

My pads came with wear sensors. I just cut the 2 wires off.

Cheers guys okay got 2 more questions lol firstly does anyone know the correct part number for the front flexi brake hoses as ive noticed while doing my work both have a split in them not leaking but into the core so I will want to change those and secondly my mate phoned me up about this drivers side drive shaft nut ok so he has the 19mm hex socket but has to take his wheel off to get at it as he has alloys on now the trouble is every time he puts pressure on it to loosen the nut the drive shaft turns so he cant crack it to loosen it off any ideas please ???

Has he not got a steel spare he could fit that would give access to the hub nut for loosening?

thats a point i could lend him my spare mine is just a steelie will that be okay then just fit it on then crack the nut whilst on all fours yes ???

Last question I promise might as well do a brake fluid change while im at it do you know how much I need to totally bleed the system have a new 1 litre bottle is that enough ???
