Armrest too short?

Featured Replies

Hello

I have test driven the Kodiaq and found the armrest to be very short. Is that true or can it slide forward? I have a Skoda Fabia and I rest my arm on the armrest fine in that car.

I’m almost considering the Superb over the Kodiaq just because of that armrest :-).

thanks

Peter

in our Kodiaq the armrest slides forward and can be height adjusted via tilt.  That's on a 2018 model but I'd doubt it will have changed (although best to check with the new version if that's what you are considering).

The arm rest slides back and forward and can be raised up as well.

Thank you both👍

Coming from a Superb it is a bit small.

However, it's fine once you get used to it.

Who can drive "properly" with an arm on the armrest?

Is the other elbow on the window cill?

Me.

Yes.

Obviously it makes quite a difference how tall or short someone is who is driving, and if the seat is far back or forward and pumped up or down, or whatever.

For reference I am 6'4", seat back as far as it goes and 1 pump from the bottom.

  • john999boy changed the title to Armrest too short?
  • 4 years later...

It's fine for me, but it the leather cracked, has anyone tried to replace the armrest?

Rather than replace it you could just get a new leather cover for it to go over the top
