I have used the forums a few times and thought it was time to sign up.

 

I have owned 3 Skoda's and they have all been great!

 

The first was a 2011 Skoda Fabia MK2 1.2 TSI which replaced the girlfriends 2008 BMW 1 Series which started to become very expensive to fix.

 

The Fabia which was bought poorly was quickly named Fiona. Fiona limped the 16 miles home and after a bit of troubleshooting she had 4 new spark plugs and was running great! 4 new tires and a service she has been perfect for the last year. 

 

Fiona has had a few light mods performed:

Dechromed

Sound deadened all four doors

Kenwood under-seat sub  

Hardwired Dashcam

 

The Second is my 2015 Skoda Octavia MK3 Estate 2.0 TDI which replaced my 2009 Citroen C5 MK3 Estate, which again started to become very expensive to fix, given all the money it had thrown at it over the 3 years of ownership. 

 

Octy has had its Cambelt & Water pump recently replaced as well as a full service, its soon due disc and pads all the way around too

 

Mods for Octy are:

Window Tint (DONE)

Hardwired Dashcam

Aftermarket Audio System, Replacement Door Speakers & Sub (Waiting on final parts)

Sound Deadening

De Chroming

Remap 

 

The Third is a 2014 Skoda Rapid 1.6TDI which is replacing the Fabia. The Girlfriend is traveling a bit further to work and need a bit more space & comfort. 

 

The Rapid now named Rubie is booked in for its cambelt & water pump, it also need new front disc & pads.

 

Mods for Rubie are:

Wrap the roof & spoiler black

Hardwired Dashcam

Aftermarket Audio System, Replacement Door Speakers & Sub

Sound Deadening

De Chroming

Remap.

 

If I remember I will take photos and do a write up on the mods as it may help others.
