anyone know what these plastic things do above the side windows, are they sun visors or wind breakers when the window is open i dont know but like the way they look.

yep they are wind deflectors - stop the rain dripping in if you have the window open but as the name suggests they stop wind buffeting if you have the window open.

If you buy a either a new ford or vauxhall iirc, these are an optional extra included as the "smoker pack" with the Lighter and ashray, so you can flick ash out the window too.

Been on every car manufacturer website recently looking for a new car for SWMBO so cant remember which one

I have had an ongoing problem for 2 years with my 2018 Kodiaq .2.0l TSI battery losing charge over a few days and the battery charging randomly at different charge rates. To date I have had: 2 replacement batteries (at my cost) then under Extended Warranty (now expired) 1 replacement negative battery lead (with sensor) 1 replacement alternator Symptoms (monitored with Ancel Battery Manager device and multimeter) Battery discharges in a few hours from 100% SoC /12.8v to around 65% then conti

Hi. I've just had the touchscreen replaced and happy to say everything is all working again with the exception of the clock which is stuck at 12:00. The second hand is still working though. The time on the dashboard behind the steering wheel is working fine and can be adjusted. Can anyone please advise me ho to adjust the clock on the touchscreen when it is in standby mode? Many thanks.

2022 Skoda Octavia 1.5tsi estate. Following a battery issue, I now have 10 CAN Network Gateway faults, all related to low voltage. The battery has been replaced with a new one but I need to register the new one with the car. I have a Carista EVO reader but it won’t reset the fault codes. Reads them fine but won’t reset them. (I’ve subscribed for a month so that part is fine.) I checked the battery voltage and it was 14.1v so I took the car for a 30 minute drive to see if the car’s computer/sens

Hello, Has anyone fitted the OEM or aftermarket fog lights to their Kamiq? Has Skoda been generous enough to put the wiring loom into the car already in a SEL 2020 model? Also, can the black bumper trim just be cut to shape to accept a fog light or does that have to be replaced??

Another day, another reverse camera and I’m very proud to say that I can confirm the reverse camera can be fitted to the 2020 model year Facelift Superb. The camera fitting on these is a bit different with the new rear plinth but that actually makes it easier to fit. I am super pleased I could confirm this works on the FL Superb. Additionally, as this car is an SE-L with the A5 camera as standard for Dynamic Light Assist, I was able to code Lane Assist for the owner, a £535 option fr
