Hi all, I have a strange problem with my oil sensor.

 

it began by showing the warning in orange, but only when my car got up to temperature (90 degrees +)

My oil temp shows accurately up until the point where this warning shows up, and then changes to show ( --- ) and intermittently shows the correct temp.

the reading does not jump about and is consistent, but every time when the car warms up.

 

I have had my oil sensor replaced (the one on the sump) and it went away for maybe 1/2 days but then came back with slowly increasing regularity.

 

I have scanned it with obd tool, however only things showing are lambda / 02 sensor which I will be doing soon - (CAR IS NOT RUNNING ROUGH OR SHOWING ANY SIGNS OF BEING 'UNWELL')

Did you get this fixed? If so which sensor was it? I’ve just started having the same warning appear intermittently.
