Greetings from sunny (and currently breezy) Bahrain.

Fairly recently moved over here after spending 15 years in Canada, where the vast majority of folks have no idea what a Skoda is.
Born and raised in Hampshire (Fareham), but haven't really lived there full time since '97.

In an effort to avoid completely conforming to the regional norm by buying a LandCruiser or Patrol etc, we bought a Mk8 Golf GTi, and should be adding to the VAG family with a Superb L&K hatch at the end of this week.
Pictures will of course be forthcoming as and when time allows.

Oh, I’m sure it’s changed massively.

I was last here, albeit briefly, just over twenty years ago, and it’s almost unrecognizable now.

 

The British Club is still around though, with the Rugby Club now being it’s own entity.
