Key…

Featured Replies

Hi guys

my car leaves me today, dug  out the spare key last night and there is another key on the fob, but can’t ever recall what it’s for…

Is this something to do with the car, anyone know?

it’s been in a draw for 11 years….

It just opens the doors in the hidden location. I don't think it has any immobiliser properties.

I'll leave it on the keyring

Argh.

I didn't actually take proper notice of the keyway. Why not try it in one of the locks to see?

OK, solved it I think...

Its the Key for the Airbag lock that is in the glovebox.

Just in case anyone else was interested....

**** - Scrub that, the main key does that, although this one turned it also, but I dont think its meant to....

I'll just take it off the keyring I think, as I cant find anywhere else it works
