Good Online Places for Replacement Number Plates

Featured Replies

I believe I have this in the right place. Then again, it is late and I'm tired, so I could be completely in the wrong bit! :D

As the title suggests, does anyone know of any decent online places that do bog standard replacement plates that are legal? Ideally somewhere with one of those configurator things if possible.

Thanks in advance.

I find "Google" is good for this stuff ;)

I was semi-expecting this in all honesty :D

What needs configuring in the configurator? If it's bog standard, that should be the default setting... and all of them should be legal.

Long as you don't mind them advertising their business on the lower edge of your registration plate, in "massive 10mm high lettering", most places should be just fine. ;)

Thanks for your reply! I had considered getting the Scottish flag on the left hand side bit, that's all. I must've forgot to add that bit in.

I'll need to watch for that, I'm currently advertising two different dealers since my front and rear plates don't match! :D

Fancyplates .com, endless configurations and always had good service from them

I just use the cheapest eBay sellers. Generally £12 or so gets a set delivered.

Bumping this for an odd request. Is it possible to get plates done to spec like the original ones provided by the Skoda dealer from where the car was procured? I've got one original dealer plate on the rear and wanted to know if it is possible to get ones emulating this.

Image just for reference...

Please ignore the grubby tailgate. It actually got washed today, photo was taken yesterday,

I don't think the West End Garage is still in Broxburn (EH525LL I think), but having not been out that way in ages, I'd be none the wiser. I didn't buy the car new either. Might just get one from Glenfield's of Kilmarnock to match the front one then :D

No idea either. But they'd be the only people who could legally supply a plate with that name and postcode on it.

Thanks, Ken. I wasn't too sure on the legalities of that. :)
