They look really good. Especially the door pocket liners. I'd have a set of those in a flash.

As far as I'm aware you can't get anything like those in the UK, though I'd be c*ck-a-hoop if someone knows better.

Does your local company have a website, by any chance? Might they be persuaded to ship abroad?

Interesting! The Turkish Lira price is a lot cheaper than the AliExpress but doesn't include shipping. Who's going to be the guinea pig to see how much UK Customs add??

Today our Karoq had its first oil change / inspection service at 10,700 miles (19 plate) at Marshalls Skoda M.Keynes. No other parts other than oil, filter & a few seals were needed. Not cheap at £185 but they did wash it inside & out.

This is my wife's car & it had really low mileage when we bought it used from an independent dealer in October last year so a 1st service at just over 2 years old was about right. Once it's out of warranty I will probably have the servicing done at our local Independent VW group specialist.

I am in your debt for this Ali Express lead. I just hope I don't break any clips getting panels off!!

I put a set of these in at the back end of last year. They're pretty good, and accurately cut. I'm chuffed with the result, though putting the door pocket liners in takes a little forethought and some patience since you're applying something sticky to the inside of a three-dimensional space full of compound curves.

It's not quite a  case of having only one crack at it, but it's probably best to treat it that way to avoid creases or having to peel it off and reapply it.

For what it's worth, I found that it was much, much easier if the backing paper was cut into smaller sections with the point of a very sharp blade (like a scalpel) before starting, being careful not to go through the felt itself, obvs...

That means you can remove the backing paper a bit at a time without the whole thing getting in the way or having to tear it off as you go.

I only did the four door pockets because the edges of the liners are hidden by the moulded recesses in the doors. You'll see when you get them.

The exposed edges in the centre console cavity aren't quite as neat, but maybe that's nit-picking.

Thanks for that. It was your post that prompted me to look at them after a rattling noise coming from a loose object in one of the rear doors started to get on my nerves. My L&K Superb has felt liners in the door pockets as standard so I was a bit surprised that our Edition Karoq didn't have them. Same as the absence of gas struts on the Karoq bonnet which my Superb also has. More cost cutting I guess.

For this, do you have the mud flaps? I'm asking because, I tried buying something like that for all 4 arches, but the dealer said as long as I have the mud flaps, I cannot fit those arches. 😞

Do you mean Mud Flaps or wheel arch cladding? I do have mud flaps all round which I fitted last year.

My Edition Karoq 4 x 4 does not have any wheel arch cladding fitted - surprisingly. Apparently there are different types of mud flaps for Karoq's with & without the wheel arch cladding.

The rear wheel arch fenders I'm getting will fit on the other side of the rear mud flaps (in the arch behind the rear doors) so there is no way they will interfere with the fitted mud flaps which are fitted to the rear bumper arch.

@Colin170CR, I didn't know that there are mud flaps with wheel arches. Do you have any links where I can order some?

I ordered my Karoq mud flaps from a Skoda Dealer in Ireland - here Karoq Mud Flaps At 35.00 Euro for front & back + shipping they are a good price compared with elsewhere.

Only the front Mud Flaps are different for cars with or without the plastic wheel arches. The rears seem to be the same for both.

I'm considering the purchase of a set of rear wheel arch fenders shown here. However, on inspecting the existing fixings, my car has only the lower and upper ones. Does anyone have experience of installing them and possible longevity issues if only two fixings are used? Another thread on mudflaps/fenders had a link to an AliExpress page that has a short video in which 3 existing fixings are mentioned and re-used;  the page in question now says the fenders are no longer available, though they look the same as those shown here.

I have ordered a set of these rear fenders from AliExpress which are in transit at UK customs 🤞 . These also show 3 fixing points but I haven't checked the car yet to see if it has 2 or three fixing points. I will document them when received. I have also got some gas bonnet struts coming as well. More info on both in due course.

I'm all "flocked up" as well!!

My kit arrived the other day. I have to say installing them into the door pockets was not a breeze. Quite difficult in fact. Super sticky panels have the backing paper peeled off bit by bit to avoid it sticking to itself as you wrestle it into position. It's a real pain to separate if it sticks together. That said no wrinkles can be seen on mine unless you look really closely in the corners. The centre console was much easier. All in all a good result & no more annoying rattles from loose items in the door bins.

My rear wheel arch fenders arrived & have been fitted. Before fitting them I hosed down the inside of the wheel arch to remove as much crud as possible - not enough as it turned out. NOTE - there are 3 (not 2) existing wheel arch liner screws with T20 heads which can be re-used for fitting the liners. Despite spending time feeling around blind I nearly missed one screw at the 11 O'clock position - top hole. It was hiding in a different position / angle to the other 2 screws & covered in crud. More washing required to expose it & get the T20 bit into the head of the screw. Forget about using the crosshead screws & angled screwdriver thingy supplied with the arch fenders - useless. You need a T20 bit to get the OEM screws out so just re-use them. Getting the existing screws out & back in without taking the wheel off will require the use of an right angle adaptor or flexy drive for a hand held driver. Even then it was still a bit of a faff accompanied by lots of swearing & skinned knuckles. Getting the screws back in while holding the liner in position while feeling for the screw holes in a tight space was not easy. In hindsight it would have been much easier to take the rear wheels off but I just couldn't be bothered to break out the jack & impact wrench et all.

Any ho, all fitted now & these liners should help to keep crud building up on the inside rim of the rear doors which apparently seems to be a bit of a Karoq problem.

My Karoq doesn't have wheel arch cladding so I was a bit worried what these new fenders would look like. As it turns out they look fine, to my eyes at least. For £17.83 incl delivery & Vat they are a good buy & something that is functional rather than just aesthetic. A recommended upgrade for all Karoq owners I think.

I was feeling quite chuffed until the wife announced that she had just curbed the front alloy!!!!! That's going to be a £80 bill for a refurb. Hey ho.

1, & 3 arrived & fitted - pics & write up elsewhere in this thread. Interior LED bulb kit arrived today but not yet fitted. Handy that they have labeled each set of bulbs.

Well that didn't go too well.

It seems that none of these bulbs fit the Karoq Edition model which seems to have part LED lights already. The OEM glove box light is the only one that looks a bit yellow but the bulb supplied in this kit is not compatible with the OEM fitting which has two prongs from a PCB light. Also, being an Edition with a glass roof it does not have a rear centre Dome light. Instead it has two rear side roof lights both of which have an LED imbedded in a PCB. So, all in all a bit of a waste time & money. I guess I should have investigated more before buying. I might be able to use some of these bulbs on my Superb so it may not be a total loss.
