Anyone know any sporty/ load exhausts I could put on my MK2 Facelift 1.9 TDI?

Featured Replies

Looking for a new sporty exhaust for my 2009 MK2 Facelift 1.9 TDI Octavia. The exhaust could do with updating so I thought why not go for something sporty. Something under 1k preferably? I've been looking online but can't seem to find anything other then the stock stuff. Anyone had any luck?

Do you seriously think any aftermarket exhaust system is going to make a 1.9 TDI sound any better...

Take the silencer off and try it.

the fabia guys remove the silencers,it's called a mufflerectomy and whilst it doesn't sound nice (imo) it is loud

I'm not sure there's any such thing. Years ago, my boss had a TDi (not VAG). The exhaust broke, effectively removing the back box, and suffering broken baffles in the central silencer. The only way we noticed (despite my ragging the car to 4_000 rpm uphill on my way to the exhaust place) was the broken rear section clanging on bumps.

Ah ok thanks. Luckily I haven’t got the reciprocating saw out just yet.
