2.0 tsi petrol how can I get a safe 300bhp ?

Hey all I’ve got a 2009 2.0 tsi mk2 petrol but looking to get a safe 300bhp what do I need to look at upgrading to a hive these kinda figures if possible ?

A decent ECU remap, cool packs and sparks and an K&N / JR air filter could easily receive  at least 80+

I have already changed the the packs and spark plugs - looking in to remapping etc and a decent filter set up

to be getting to 300bhp you'll need to be looking at stage 3 remap....so decat, Intake, intercooler, maybe a upgraded HPFP,  full exhaust system.. r8 coil packs, upgraded plugs and maybe your clutch could handle it but I doubt it so factor that in  . Stage 3 involves KO4 turbo upgrades ... injectors and other stuff ..Stage 2 will see around 270-280bhp which is pretty awesome anything past that personally I'd be looking at 4wd to be able to out the power down... torque steer is a bitch

Hi Jay_tfsi,  Have read your post with interest I also have a 2009  Vrs 2.0tsi petrol.

When you changed the the packs and spark plugs how much performance did you notice.

I am thinking of a remap as well, just wondering if how far have you gone with your project.

Tsi doesnt need the injectors or the hpfp for a K04 conversion, everything else is pretty much spot on. I'm currently getting mine ready for K04 conversion, i have the Intake, upgraded coils, upgraded boost pipes, gfb dv+ and a cat back system on stage 1 so far. I'll be adding a 200cell downpipe, Bigger intercooler, helix clutch with new dmf and an oil cooler (for piece of mind) to my setup, i've already got the K04-064 (with APR modified compressor housing so its a direct bolt) on sat on my desk.
