Sounds like the folks who installed ur tow bar has done/removed something in the fuse box, and has now affected ur Infotainment.

"Open Circuit" means either a fuse or wire plug is no longer connected.  The car electrics is expecting it to b there, but nothing.

At a guess, the fakra connector for the USB socket isn't correctly attached.

They probably removed the headunit for better access to the fuse box. The USB socket uses a fakra for power/data but there is also a second power feed to allow for faster charging etc which ties in with your symptoms assuming the first isn't connected :)

Do you mean on the back of the media unit in the glove box, Or have I named it incorrectly lol. I removed the unit in the glove box and  I didn't see any lose connectors . Has any one got a pic of the fore mentioned connector attached to the media unit?

Yup, on the back of the unit in the glove box. I think it's probably the yellow fakra IIRC.

I can't see any reason for them to have disturbed the connector below the climate panel 😕

Might be worth contacting the fitter and asking them to check for you?

Yeah its going in on Friday morning for them to have a look. As you can see below all cables look connected.  Things are also connected at the cigarette socket end as well
