Hey all, my right hand dipped bulb blew the other day, and I had been stalling on purchasing a replacement however, went out to the car and got a warning that both right and left were out. 

 

What are the best halogen bulbs out there. I think it is H7 that I'm looking for. Wanting a more white bulb with extra brightness.

More white with extra brightness sounds like you want to pay some extra money for halogen bulbs with shorter life.

 

I usually trust Sergiu Gabor about such things because he is actually working as a automotive test engineer. Here is his video comparing Osram, Philips and Bosch 

 

 

All of them are good, of course, but you may have some specific preference depending on the test results.

 

There might be other brands - cheaper, more durable or with better brightness, but these are the most famous models, I know.

I would go with the Phillips Activision 130% H7 bulbs as these are a nice compromise between brightness and longevity.

Cheers guys, ended up with the Osrams, no idea how they are in the dark though lol. Not drive at night since changing them.
