Rear Cross Traffic Alert - Coding

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm looking for new Superb. Yesterday I was driving MY2017 2.0 TDI - manual.
And one thing is strange for me.  - Car has a blind spot assist, but there is no rear traffic alert.
This is normal conifg?
Seller told me that RCTA was there before, but dissapered few months ago.

And there is my question - there is a way to coding RCTA when Blind Spot is installed and works?
Maybe You have instruction for this coding?

I only found this:

A5: Byte 11, Bit 1 (SWA)
76: "Rear cross traffic": installed (Byte 3 Bit 1 enabled)
5F: Adaptions: Car Functions BAP: SWA_0x1A active, DAtabus extended, Car Function Gen2 menu display lane assistand active, lane asisstant over threshold high activated
44: Nothing needed
3C: Should be more or less self explaning, without any data this (sample is 04 C0 02)
19: Enable 3C in Gateway, nothing else
17: Byte 11, Bit 3 active
03: Byte 29, Bit 7 active

5F are the 4 adaptions i mentioned. They are not 1 on 1 as they are described, but you will find them.
44 has no info about side assist, so nothing to do here

This is for Passat 2016 and I would like to compare this instruction with others.
