My Octavia's columbus is acting a bit odd when using android auto. Sometimes it hangs to the point where i need to turn off the car.

only seems to be occurring with android auto.

 

Is there a place where i could obtain a firmware update?

Just received the update 1433, which refused to work on my unit. Kept saying can't read file and error 114.

 

Then @pab567 supplied me with a different version (1233) That one booted up just fine!

 

Updated succesfully, i seem to be getting an error in VCDS regarding versions. Can't seem to get rid of the DTC.

 

If you search for postings for the error code and Briskoda, you will find the solution.  Its basically having to fix the software version offset or checksum to match your new version in VCDS.
