Rear door speakers.

Featured Replies

Just realised the rear door speakers on the door cards are not working I'm assuming they are rear tweeters. Does anyone have a thought on why they do not work all other 6 speakers are working fine ???

Check the wiring in the door cards if that helps.

Did that when I took them off to retrim them that's how I realised they were not working when I plugged them back in.

Okay, perhaps try process of elimination. See if you can grab a known good set from another Fabia and try them in yours to see if they're working. If not, then you may have a wiring fault.

I've tested the speakers out of the car they work it's not a speaker issue it has to be a wiring issue somewhere.

I wonder if it would be to do with a break in the loom running through the bit in the door even?

Maybe if 1 speaker but both sides not working so its up front domewhere I assume I never fitted the stereo a firm did but not very well I've had to correct a few things but never realised these were not working as I don't sit in the back lol. There are spare wires just sheathed off st the is connector 1 blue from stereo plug and a blue and orange st ido connector I did connect them to see if that was the issue but all it did was make the hazard switch light up lol.

Solid choice. I was originally going to go Sony, but I saw the Kenwood at a good price and bought it. Then I got the Alpine for £15 and never looked back lol. My speakers were cooked too as a result of me trying to get my rave playlist to play with any form of bass. :D

Very nice and yep mine were totally blown I upgraded all the speakers to the fli range really good speakers and went old school and put the rear speakers into the parcel shelf, this was all the rave in my day lol and luckily I do have  spare parcel shelf which I got for a tenner of the bay.

Pioneer for me, bass response and the rears also have a better filler sound, or at least my back passengers say so. :)

It's amazing how good you can make the audio experience in one of these Furbies I've found. The Pioneers I bought are hefty, not expensive either. :)
