Legroom for 6 footer

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me what the front legroom is like in the fabia for someone that is 6' 2? I currently have a ford focus, which is ok, but I always find that I have to recline the seat.

Great forum by the way!

Cheers

well i'm around 6' and i'm by no way the tallest person on here and when i had the fabia i had the seat quite a way forward with good leg room so bags of room for movement. Fabia has a great driving position helped alot by the moveble steering wheel.

Welcome to the site btw

Im 6ft 2 ins and never had any problems getting comfy in my Fabia. Steering wheel is adjustable for rake and reach. Seat is adjustable for height etc.

i'm 6,3 and have no probs. seat pumped all the way down and 3 clicks from being fully back with the back almost upright and theres still room.

Yup - I'm 6'1 and quite "leggy" and I have the seat nowhere near the furthest back it will go. Very impressive amount of front legroom. Rear legroom isn't special, but then how often will you be back there? ;) :naughty:

6'2" and no problems here......plenty of room.... very comfy indeed

Hi

6'3" and plenty of room. Also teach pupils from 5'0" to 6'7" and all of them can get comfortable. The most versatile and customisable driving position of any car I have owned.

Comfortable if you have to be in it all day as well.

Just over 6ft here and no problems whatsoever. Also let my friends 12 year niece sit in the driver's seat one day, adjusting the seat and the steering wheel even she looked comfortable.

I've not driven a better car for the range of adjustment, you won't have any problems with your height!

I am also 6'2 and it was the driving position which was the clincher when i bought the Fabia, i was always sat too high in my previous 206 and Clio, before that i had Vauxhalls which also had nice low ajustable seats.

I'm 6' 2" and with the seat right down i feel like a racing driver (sat low in the car)! Loads of headroom, so no worries

I'm 6"4 and i've had no problems, lots of legroom, steering column at just the right height and seat can be reclined/lowered further if needed.

Another 6ft+ person here who has no problems sitting in a fabia.

I think the consensus is that you will fit

Had a pupil at 6 10"! He got comfortable but did tend to have kees either side of wheel but no probs with headrooom!

I've just over 6ft and have always been comfortable and can get my 6ft 5" brothers in the back without having to adjust my seat.

6'7" myself, feel very comfortable in my furby.

I'm a short@rse, but a friend of mine is 6'3" and finds my VRS with sunroof has too low a ceiling for him in the passenger seat (the driver's seat, adjusted fully downwards is OK). This wasn't a problem in my previous Fabia, without a sunroof.

So maybe sunroofs are bad news for longshanks.

Naa .... Mine has sunroof
