Hi everyone, just bought my first Skoda, a 2012 1.6 diesel saloon . I am 75 years old and have owned many makes of car

in the past including my current classic, a 1972 Triumph 1500 FWD. On the classics I perform all tasks, on the every day

cars, I tend to have the dealers do the work.

 

I have to say, I have owned the Octavia for one week, and am very impressed with the performance and

comfort in this 73,000 mile example , as a precaution, I am having the timing belt and water pump replaced

later this week, as there is no record of this being done in the service book. Looking forward to many more

miles in this car.
