Snapped boot cubby handle

Featured Replies

Hi, first post. I hope you can help.

The plastic switchy part on the inside of the handle snapped on the near side boot cubby. Has anyone suffered this occurrence and got any info on how they went about fixing it?

Looks like the black frame assembly could be replaced but doubt that’s available so I guess it’s an extortionate amount from the dealers for a whole door panel or down the breakers which given Skodas aren’t exactly common round these parts, might be sometime finding.

As you can see, my search terms might be a bit off for finding anything online.

Thanks for that. AU$122 + GST(VAT) and at least a three month wait from the main dealer. Just got persuade this mob to send to Australia.

I get very good results with superglue on this kind of break. Try that first before ordering a new one.

Unfortunately, I think the broken parts might were binned in a clear out.
