Auto Front Windows

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I'm a new Fabia 3 owner and have just picked up a 2016 1.2 (110bhp) SE L DSG. Sadly the car doesn't have the auto front windows like my previous Octavia and Karoq. Does any know if I can just replace the door switches, with to 2 position ones, to get this feature or is there more to do?

Regards

Chris

If you have one touch and they go up windows then they need a anti trap sensor fitted as well.

I think you can get Fabia III's with this but only on the drivers side door.

Our 2016 Fabia SEL does not have one-touch windows, which I do find annoying. I was surprised being top of the luxury trim. Both our Mk1's had it. I think later Mk III Fabias had it.  It would be nice if you could retro-fit one-touch windows.

For anyone in the future, I've done the research into this and the car lacks both the switches and the appropriate wiring.

Wire connects to a different connection on the motor as seen in the 4 door version which can have the drivers window only with 2 step buttons.

I also looked into possibly rolling up/down windows with remote but there is a wire missing between the BCM and drivers door module.

Might try experimenting with swapping switches in the future and adding the LIN wire for remote control, I have my doubts that this will work though.
