Tesco have been keen to roll this grade out to the whole country, the

problem has been finding suitable bulk storage to distribute from. You

will be pleased to hear that we are shipping our first cargo of 99

Octane to Scotland (Grangemouth) later this month so would anticipate

your Aberdeen store having the grade sometime in November.

OK folks, very sad I know, but here is the list of Tesco 99 stores, complete with Post Codes for satnav owners out there... Some are possibly a bit dodgy, as they were difficult to find using the store locator, and the Chichester one didn't even appear at all. Where there are 2, the first one is my best guess, and the second is another store in the same town that also does petrol... Sorry about the formatting, Excel to Forum post doesn't quite cut it...

Just to add guys / girls. Warrington, Cheshire now has it..

The tesco "local" filling station on Winwick road, adjacent to Alban retail park now has 99 ron petrol, the odd thing is the superstore 1/2 a mile up the road does not :confused:

I discovered this last night just after filling up with Vpower ..... grrrrrrrrr!!!

On another note, I nipped into the store as they have a coffee republic machine in there and I needed refueling for my drive to Edinburgh last night and I asked the girl behind the counter "How long have you had the 99ron fuel" ... "uggghhh????" was the reply, "The high octane fuel, the 99 ron stuff", counter girl shrieks to male colleague "Colin, how long have we had the octanes stuff in the petrol" .....

I grab my coffee and shuffle out chuckling yet slightly bemused
