Hi.

Having just updated the Columbus firmware from 4120 to 5238 (which seemed to go fine) I now find the map shows me as somewhere in Germany!

During the update all music on HDD was retained, which was nice.

 

Looking at the menu it shows the updated firmware 5238, and the maps as 8557 (v.17) which is what was on previously.

 

I inserted the v.17 CD as I did when I first updated the maps a while back. The screen displayed the messages I expected and the unit seemed to be reading the CD, but then nothing.

 

I pressed the <eject> button, expecting the system to ask if I wanted to interupt the map update, but instead the CD was just ejected.

 

What am I doing wrong?
