Just had anti Hi-jack locking done, but found that second rear fog light is still not working Had to buy a bulb as there wasn't one already there, but garage reckoned they had "enabled it"! Hah! Guess they never checked!

So back I go again! Will also be asking again about alarm beeps, as my mates Octy sport beeps:confused: Will report back later!

Just got my car back!! Alarm beep now enabled:thumbup: , however still no go on the other rear foglight:mad: !

This is what I have been told "the system was already enabled on the car so fitting a bulb was all that should have been needed, however for some reason it's still not working!" "Skoda technical state that it probably needs a cable running from the other lamp to get it going, and this needs to be tapped in somewhere!" "it will take about half a day and requires us to notify Skoda that we have broken into the loom."

Don't like the sound of this at all, so guess I have 3 options, try another dealer to see if they can fix it via diagnostics, find where the loom is interupted & replace or just forget the whole thing & live with one light!:confused:

Will have to make a decission, but will see what you guys think first!!!!

I'd also love to hear of the 2nd fog light being enable, if anyone else does it through VAG COM let me know

I'd be really interested in that, any chance sooner rather than later , I'm booked in to get a rattle sorted on the 21st . I had asked about the beep and was told it couldn't be done. Maybe exact deatils of what has to be changed in the code if possible

Would welcome the info too, don't know why they don't openly tell you what the options are at time of purchase.

Would give you the feeling of the car being customised to your taste from the word go! Ah of course, having just seen that i WAS charged for the alteration (
