Hi all, I first joined in 2004 when I purchased the Fabia vRS 1.9 PD.  absolutely superb car for the time.  I had it for 14 years and apart from a window regulator fail which was replaced under warranty NOTHING went wrong.  
 

Since then I’ve had 2 Audi A3’s and my current car (until tomorrow) is the new Peugeot 208 GT.  Great car but too small.

 

Anyway, just purchased a 2021 Kamiq Monte Carlo in race blue which I’m picking up either tomorrow or Sunday.

 

Glad to be back……anyone on here from way back??

One of the oldest remaining members besides moderators and Colin that I can think of off the top of my head definitely has to be @skomaz if that helps.

Just checked...   2nd December 2002 to be precise but prior to that was on the VWVortex Skoda group for a while before Colin created this breakaway!

Thank you mate.  I THINK that name rings a bell as I was pretty active on here back in the day for a few years.  Looking forward to being back in the Skoda fold.  I’m buckling up😊

I used to be known as Carefree, but when I tried signing up again that name was taken.  Could it be that my original username is still attached to me?  I’m pretty sure I completely deleted my original account🤔. It doesn’t necessarily matter, just wondering.

There are a lot of us oldies. Many lurk, waiting for something. I’d say there are not many that skoda has managed to hold onto for 20plus years. That’s a lot of changing values, brand and individuals.

Thanks mate, yeah was wondering how the Skoda world had changed, and this place.  I guess I’ll find out soon enough.
