Huge amount of whitespace removed

I think it's got more empty space than your post but not much more, how small are you?

Okay, here's what I'll recommend, take a measuring tape with you when you go to view one, obviously knowing your own height, and measure from the back of the front seats to the tailgate. There's your answer.

I've thought about taking on an estate for camping in as well, plus the enhanced load space, as I can just fit in the back of the hatch with the seats folded down but that's sitting upright, looking out the back. For the record, I'm about 5ft 10in or there abouts.

To the OP...

I've removed the white space/new lines and left the random bits of text that were burried in it.

You may wish to make sure that your first post says what you want it to say.

Oh gawd! I had weird mobile browser problems and couldn't send a new topic.

But seems OK now.

Thanks for all the help.

Still would like any fabia estate mk1 or mk2 owners to chip in too.

There is one but its 90min drive away.

Thought might be a video with all these crazy car campers in.

Don't want to build a bed for it.

Just seats down and a little fold up thin air mattress. Cos would have kids in a lot.

Just want to instant kip on the hoof.

Of course octa up but they are t2ice the price and more thirsty probably.

There is a fabia mk1 estate elegance top notch for 1500

@skomaz - I know you don't have your Mk1 estate anymore, but any chance you'd be able to chip in here? :)

I'm 6 foot and wouldn't have a hope of sleeping in my Fabia hatchback, I think the estate's about 6" longer, so I'll go with a no on that.

My Octavia hatchback is fine for it though. The worst I have to do is wind the seat back up a bit or slide it forwards.

I'm away from my laptop where I have the dimensions but would say no you won't have the length in a Fabia unless you are short and can run the passenger seat a long way forward.

You will in a mk2 Octavia though! My neighbour used to in his and he was nigh on 6ft and I recall we got a three seat sofa in ours with the boot shut.

If I can dig the detail out when I'm home and have the info to hand I will!

Many thanks again for all the replies.

Hey, look forward to the final evidence Skomaz, cheers! 🍻 👏

I'm 5' 10" or 5' 9", so it's not sounding hopeful for a good old mk 1 estate.

I think a honda Jazz can just about make a 5' 9" but would rather a bit more overall space of the fabia or just go for the all round useful Octy.
