Hello 

 

I have a 2017 Skoda Kodiaq and the infotainment is not working.

 

The service centre suggested to replace 

 

PART NUMBER 5Q0 035 864 C

 

However the estimate cost is too high.

 

I have a spare part from a Skoda Superb which is working, however the graphics are of the Superb.

 

I wanted to know if there is any way of coding the software to work with my Kodiaq

 

is there anyone that has anymore information that could help me please would be much appreciated. 

I have seen @SashaGrace @pab567 seem to know a lot about this topic. Hope you don't mind me tagging you both.

Visit you local SKODA dealer and ask them to proceed with unit replacement, including component protection removal, parametrization (loading of co called container file), coding and adaptations.

@pab567got unit replacement and component protection removed, but the bluetooth and smart link not working.

 

Current installed SW MU version: MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0471T

 

you think upgrading software can help?  

 

if yes where can i get latest firmware?

 

will appreciate if you could help

Looks lik ethey missed to recover FEC/SWaP codes. Pls let me know your VIN and post a picture of installed FEC/SWaP codes (available from service menu - long press MENU button).

As I expected - they missed to recover FEC/SWaP codes assigned to your VIN

Now what?

 

Can i do it myself?

Also VIN number of vehicle and part doesn't match
