My 4x4 turbo has changed hands...

Featured Replies

Well, it's done - my 4x4 turbo has changed hands...

It hasn't gone too far away though, since Mrs D is now the new owner! :D

Having said that, I will probably not be posting a lot in future - and not that I did the past year  - as she prefers to keep the car as it is. So in all probability no new exhaust (that is, until it needs replacement anyway), no strut braces, and no performance brakes. However, I will have the opportunity to still enjoy its all-wheel driven power.

So should I get the Mrs to post here instead? Well, I would, but first I need to cure her computer illiteracy...

Anyway, now is as good a moment as any to thank all at Briskoda for three wonderful years - the Briskoda sticker will remain proudly where it is, right above the center brake light.

And in case the old hands on here are curious as to what I am now driving instead - don't flame me, but it's a [whispering mode] Fiesta ST [/wm]. :P

It's a compliment to the Octy, as I wasn't able to find a (company paid) family car to replace it. So we decided on selling Mrs D's Micra, buying the Octy back from the company on a big discount and getting me into a (company paid) small and nippy street racer as a Micra replacement. The 4x4 turbo and the ST couldn't be more dissimilar, so I'm looking forward to switching cars a lot... :D;)

All the best Mattijs...enjoy the Ford....hey...I'm even considering a Ford S-Max....2.5t version though.;)

He Mattijs, wees geen vreemde, maar kom nog af en toe langs. Ik heb nog steeds een biertje te goed ;)

You will never be no further away than a click of the mouse, Mattijs, so do pop in from time to time for a look. Many thanks for your significant contribution to Briskoda and all the best for the future. :wavey:

PS: If ever you see a dynamic blue 4X4 Estate in Holland, it will probably be me my visiting sister-in-law near Alkmaar.

Cheers Mattijs - sounds like a nice combination of cars there

Cheers guys, thanks...

I certainly won't be a stranger but won't be a regular either. (I know, that's merely confirming the matter of fact of the past year or so :D )

*hands over virtual pint to Q* ;)
