Just wondering if anyone else's Kodiaq is currently 'offline' and showing a red globe at the top of the infotainment screen?

 

It doesn't affect us too much as, having an SE, we have a Bolero infotainment system that doesn't really benefit from being online - it's just the red globe that annoys me.

Mine was working earlier today... has your Skoda Connect licence expired? If you normally connect it to the Internet using your phone... did you leave that at home?

I took the sim out to use in the iPad as it has more data on it.

Its taken a fortnight for the red globe to turn white again after I put it back in the car.

It happened when I did the same before nd no amount of fiddling would get it back to white, it just did it on its own. Not so simply clever.

Forgotten I'd asked about this- we don't have a separate sim - it's built-in but the glove has been 'red' for a week or so now.  I've never used or paid for Connect as, for an SE, I'm not sure it provides any real benefit so I'll sit tight and see what happens.

Just a quick update - I did nothing but three weeks later and it seems to have sorted itself - the globe is now white as expected...
