APR stainless steel dogbone mount fitted...

Featured Replies

I bought this cheap mod (£73) & just had it fitted yesterday whilst in for a DSG service.

Biggest improvement I thought was to steering feel.  It really has seemed to tighten everything up to feeling more old BMW than old Volvo.

Gear shifts are a lot better / faster feeling too eliminating all the slop.

Negligible amounts of extra vibration at idle too only really being noticeable with AC running.

Serious value for money mod in my opinion

I had the same experience too fitting a lower insert dogbone mount in my 220, but I went with the 034-motorsport.

Been 2+ yrs now. Still loving it & going strong.

No more axle-tramp.

Gear shifts r crisp.

Engine feels more responsive.

Taking a bolt out of bottom of transmission & subframe & put another in through the mount to the correct torque

The bolt being referred to.

Easy to access and do.  Just make sure u have a breaker bar to get it loose, and u torque it back up to 140 Nm.

What are your thoughts on the mod so far?  Have you had it out a run?
