Had the bad luck to pick up a tiny stone on the ns. wiper blade.Said stone was then dragged one complete arc across the windscreen.It has left a scratch in an arc about 1 inch down from the top of the wiper blade.Not too terrible but just enough to be annoying as the car is less than a month old.(1.9 tdi Elegance estate).

Has anyone any ideas how I can get the scratch out......would jewellers rouge work ?

I have something similar, I've tried all the polishes and rubbing compunds available in halfrauds with no resolution as yet :(

I have seen it used on glass and it does make a difference.
