Window Regulator replacement

Featured Replies

Hi all, yet again i need help and lots of it. my drivers window went crack! and now can drop down. took door panel off and am left very confused. when do they make thing so hard to fix. i have looked for videos but cant find a skoda superb mk 2.

has anyone seen a video on front drivers side?

or does anyone know a garage thats not going to take my eyes out.

i think iv seen that most of the window rail at the top needs removing. or does someone near TEESSIDE want to price this up for me.

im now stuck do i put door panel back on and take it to a garage?

seems life is one step forwards and six back at the moment.

Hi, I had this happen to me earlier this year. Fixed with genuine parts and cost less than £300. (Manchester)  Nothing to fear.

I'm guessing cable has snapped or plastic clips.

I agree with DEL8OY - I replaced mine (what a chew on) with a cheapo ebay one and it failed pretty quickly. Got a local VAG specialist to do it again with proper kit. Worth it. Don't want to do it again in a hurry.
