Rear discs

Featured Replies

Is there an idiots guide on changeing the rear discs at all ? Ive found the mk3 guide on how to do it with out having to take off the caplier carrier and some how trying to remove thr welded in bolts!

brake pad low warning light. Is there a simple way to replace the wireing loom at all ?

got new pads and discs on the front but the warning light comes on. I know the pin is broken though.

If the bolts are hard to open, use the jack on the end of the wrench.

Plus 1 for leverage use a Jack on the end of your spanner/socket wrench for those stiff calliper bolts.

Yeah you can just join the wires together to disable the light but obviously you are doing away with pad wear warning.

The harness joins into the abs harness which then disappears into the main harness ( seems a nightmare)

I had to run a earth from front left abs sensor to abs pump after having abs fault ( wire had a break somewhere)

The two rear carrier bolts are a pig to do

Short M14 spline and wobble drive extension etc works best
