T45 Torx bit plus plenty of lever arm, I'd think?

Is this a trick question?

To break the paint seal just tighten it a fraction before undoing it.

I believe one of the bolts goes through from the inside.

Good shout, looks like the tip of a screw coming through the bracket to the left of the other one. Wondered what that was when I first looked, but didn't put two and two together.  Thanks goodness one of us has a useful answer.

you should never have a reason to have to remove the actual hinge cant see why you would need to.

If you undo the check strap, you should be able to get the door open enough to get in with a long T45 bit. Can I ask what you're trying to achieve though because this hinge won't be easy to get back on or set.

Hi Steve, the door itself has suffered some damage. I want to replace the door along with the hinges. Setting the door will not be a problem as I have had some experience with this. I just wasn’t aware when I posted this question that the second bolt for the lower hinge is bolted from the inside. I haven’t looked for where this bolt is yet, can you offer any advice?

Here's a new hinge with the threaded hole for the inner bolt clearly visible....

Worth mentioning perhaps that there's a knack to removing the bonnet release lever that isn't intuitive while in the footwell. I've got some pics somewhere but from memory there's a collar that slides out from behind the lever which frees it.

Lower/inner A pillar trim needs this removing before you can extract.

Here's a video for the bonnet release lever....
