Felicia mysteries

Featured Replies

this is my first post [ever] The new to me 1999 felicia is wonderful even though it is white. There are many questions I would like to ask but one at a time.

Do all models have an immobilser ? Mine has ordinary keys but with no circuit board within, only a torch. Does this key work as an immobiliser ?

I hope to become more active with time as my experience grows. I am new to Skodas but quite familiar with Mk 2 Golfs and Mk 2 Polos.

regards to all .... TIB

Can't help with your questions, but hello and welcome :wavey:

Hello TIB and welcome :)

I'm afraid all cars are a mystery to me, but you could perhaps post your specific enquiry in the forum under Maintenance & Performance, "Felicia, Fun & Forman", as there are lots of people here who actually do understand things...

hi. and welcome. i agree with heresmo route [ felicia fun & forman. ] :D

Hello and welcome. Yes it does have an immobiliser. There wont be any circuitry in the key just the transponder which looks like a little maggot usually glued in the front edge of the key.

Many thanks for your reply. I have looked inside the key's head and found a wee rectangular block stuck near the front. I suppose that is the transponder. That is one mystery solved ... I'm sure there will be more. Thanks again.. TIB.
