Clean car and new camera

Featured Replies

I bought a new camera a couple of weeks ago - a Canon Ixus 50. Quite impressed so far - its very compact (about the size of a packet of cigs) and easy enough to use.

I've not taken too many pics with it so far, but I washed the car tonight so took the opportunity to get a few snaps of the car.....

Lookin good and in the only colour to have ;)

Nice camera Andy. The wife bought me the Exilim for my birthday and I am very

pleased with it.

You should be able to put it to good use at Blackpool.

As for the car, what can I say!

Nice pic's, you ought to enter one or two of those into the Brisky callendar 2007 thread!

Edit: Piccy 6 or 8 would be good contenders. BTW, what program do you use to get the swirl effect on the number plate?.

Thanks for the comments. 6 and 8 are my favourites too. Still got a few months to work on my calender entry, but will definitely be submitting one or two

I've seen the swirl effect done before (does Loz use it?) and think it looks good. Took me a while to work out how to do it, but I found a way using Jasc Paint Shop Pro.

Select the "Warp Brush" on the left hand side, and then the "Right Twirl" warp mode at the top. Change the size to suit, and other settings as shown seemed to work best for me.

Nice pics, some remind me of the Skoda Official ones, something about the angle and the sky colouring
