Hello All

 

After much deliberation, several test drives and much haggling today I’ve finally placed an order for a Karoq Sportline.

 

Had many car marques over the years but this will be my first Škoda and I’m looking forward to when it (hopefully) arrives in around 12 weeks time.

 

Looking forward to getting involved, just hope my posts aren’t fault finding ones…😆

So even though the car is a few months away it pays to be prepared right? Any excuse to buy a few goodies in advance 😁

 

Almost a month in and I’ve succumbed to a Freedom membership, you don’t seem like a bad bunch so far…😉😂

 

I agree, they seem like great people.

Rang the dealer today to see there had been any movement on my order, apparently the factory have accepted the order and will hopefully start the build on or around the 16th of January with a possible delivery date to the dealer towards the end of February.

Must admit I’m fed up of waiting for it already 😂

By way of a quick update from the dealer today; the car is built and awaiting transport from the factory to the docks at Emden.

Hoping to be in a Škoda by the beginning of March 😁

 

 

Another update from the dealer just now; car is currently at Emden - Status 38 - “port of exit, released” 

 

So fingers crossed for the next few weeks, I’ve also now got the VIN and engine number, I did ask for the PR Code list but they say they haven’t got it yet which I find strange. 
 

Fresh update today; the car is now at the dealers (off-site) compound and I’ll be picking it up next Friday 😁
