Need a new battery.

Featured Replies

I need a new battery for my 2015 vrs tdi. I’m thinking of getting the one in the link below. It should be compatible with the car but was wondering if it was good enough.

Thank you!

I use one right now, same year as yours.  Can you confirm you have original factory fitted 68Ah AGM type (278mm in length)

Thank you!

I also use one, awesome battery. If your car was not factory fitted with an AGM battery, you will have to vcds code the technology and change the battery serial number. The shop that changed my battery told me they did it, I bought a vcds cable to check and as to be expected, they didn't do s..t. It is an easy codding thought.

I put one in my Superb a couple of months ago. Works perfectly and I believe was the original OEM Varta from new. I did have to code from 65ah to 68ah though.
