Hey everyone!

Since i am coming from Norway, excessive use of salt on roads is pretty much normal. And therefore i need to change it. I am not planning to buy new one because its over 700 euros. But there can be found pretty good ones, used, for decent money. Only problem is, i dunno which one fits on my car. So, i would mich appreciate any help.

Car in question is Octavia 2010  1,6d SW

The parts catalogue pages for a 2010 Octavia mk2 rear axle are HERE.  If you can identify the part/s you are looking for it will help.

So a 1.6 TDI Octavia Estate from 2010.  Front wheel drive.

 

Hopefully someone can come along to help you as to what else you can get one from that you can fit.

 

Are the bits on your car OK that you are keeping, hubs, brakes, suspension etc, and how much do you want to be coming with the used axle you buy?

Sorry Toot, but i am not sure that i have understood your question in the last sentence!?

Do you want a used axle as a direct fit brakes / hubs as well, or are you ok just getting a suitable axle and swapping parts from your car onto it,?  Are you doing the work?

Are you selling a rear subframe assembly?

@MicMacI have family in Oslo and are heading there soon for an extended visit to do some work so maybe can help the OP finding what they are after if they are not finding asuitable axle.

We will try to swap parts from my car. My friend mechanic will do the work. Wishbones are bought new. And support frame is bought as well. Used one athough.
